I'm a first-year BFA student at UBC Okanagan, and my artistic interests are mostly in drawing/painting (traditionally and Photoshop). HTML, website design, and graphic design are pretty fun too. I also enjoy studying feminism, queer culture, Japanese language and culture, and environmentalism.

In any case, since the last entry, I have completed my first year of a BFA program, gotten my full driver's license, turned 20, been dating for the past 6 months, and some other odds and ends. It's been great. Learning lots, having fun, working hard, sleeping little, and growing up.

Weather here is fantastic. We're well into the hot dry summer! Haven't swam in the lakes yet though.
All the way in NB huh? I've never been further than AB.

Agh... nothing to see past the mountains... trust me. I can't wait to see the Rockies again. Swimming in the lakes is always a blast. Dry weather, eh? Any fire warnings yet?
